September 14, 2019, Santa Clarita, California-  Futbol Club Santa Clarita  (The Storm) is presently preparing for its 14th year of competing as a Pro-Am developmental Professional team. The Storm will begin to play in the Spring of 2020 and will return to the United Premier Soccer League Division 1. 
Futbol Club Santa Clarita the parent club for the team is presently preparing for the spring season to be the biggest one for the veteran team. The Club (FCSC) is busy with a project that should be announced soon. This project will bring high level trained international players to the team.  These players will be academy trained with a proved track record of success.  FCSC is working on will become an international team that will have both domestic and international players.

"This does not only raise the level of play for the team but will benefit our players here," said the clubs General Manager and CEO Gary Brunner. Bringing talented players here and mixing with our players will give both the experience of learning how other players from other countries play and their style of play.  It will also raise the level of both and give a different look to the game altogether, Brunner went on to say. It has always been the vision of the club to assist the deserving talented players them with pursuing their dream of playing in the top level of professional soccer. Brunner added "bringing players here from another country will also assist them in gathering the experience of playing in a league's top-level like the UPSL Division 1. These players will be from a very experienced and older Academy and in order for top professional clubs to accept the academy players they need experience in playing in a National top tier league such as the United Premier Soccer League. 
We are very excited about the coming Spring season, it will be a new year, a new look and full of exciting soccer.  We hope to have a press release in the come month or so an give a little more of who what and when, but we just want to make sure all the T's are crossed and I's are dotted before all is revealed said the teams GM. 
Futbol Club Santa Clarita is hoping that the "Breaking News" will be released by the first of next month.  The team will be holding tryouts for the spring season next January.  Keep checking the clubs website as well as all of their social media .
