Brunner has Managerial experience since 971 where until 1980 Mr. Brunner worked in the retail industry as a manager for the K-mart Corporation with experience in Human Resources as well; directing over 100 employees.

In 1981 he was hired to work for the home improvement chain, Oles Home Centers and served as Operation Manager in charge of the day to day operation, Human Resources and merchandise budget for over $150,000.00 of inventory. In 1986 he moved to Sierra Industries; a wholesale distributor who serves the nations agricultural industry. Adding an additional 30 years’ experience in direct sales. Gerald also has over 25 years of operational experience in the organization and operational functions in the sports entertainment industry. In 1995 Gerald spent 7 years operating a 32 team non-profit recreational youth soccer league in the City of Lancaster. The Nonprofit league provided playing opportunities for over 375 youths ranging in ages from 6 years to 19 years old. In 2002 he acquired and maintained a youth soccer coaching license for coaching youth soccer. He coached in both the American Youth Soccer Organization (A.Y.S.O) as well as the Coast Soccer League until 2006, when Gerald decided to purchase the team franchise from the United Soccer Leagues. Gerald has been the General Manager for the organization, overseeing the operation of United Sports International's Men's Pro/Am soccer team since its inception in 2006. The team began in Lancaster, California & was known as the Lancaster Rattlers of the United Soccer League (U.S.L) Premier Development League. Until 2011 when the organization decided to change their hometown to Santa Clarita & rebranding under the name of the Futbol Club Santa Clarita Storm, & competing in the United Premier Soccer League, 2017 competes in the UPSL Pro Premier Division

Gerald also serves and Director of Operations of the UPSL which consist of over 140 teams and operates in 17 different states and is recognized as a National League.
