Storm Alumni signs Professional Contract

Albi Skendi will start in FA Cup for Yeovil Town FC

Santa Clarita alumni now playing Professionally in England, Albi SKendi

who played 5 seasons with the Storm is now playing for Yeovil Town FC in Somerset England. Skendi a Midfielder and Center back from England went back last year and started playing with Stratford Town and the was snapped up by Yeovil Town FC this past summer and signed his first professional contract. 

Abli, the 25-year-old 6'4" Midfielder went to Glovers after playing with Stratford and assisting them to their highest league finish in the club’s history. While at Gloves is when Yeovil Town learned of Skendi.


 Skendi according to the Yeovil Town FC website had first played with at Oxford City and Banbury United Skendi before going on to Glovers.  In a game with Yeovil Town FC  Skendi help his new team to a win over Hampton & Richmond Borough last week and that advanced Yeovil Town to the third round of the FA Cup.  Skendi played in the United Premier Soccer League with the Santa Clarita Storm in the Pro-Premier Division for 5 seasons before moving back to England. Now looks like he has found a home in Somerset and his first professional team.
