Lake Forest California- Santa Clarita opened up its 2020 Spring season on the road in Lake Forest to face Revolution FC for the first time.

It was the 37 min when John Lopez in midfield found a path that leads to Isalas Sanchez who turned and took the defender on 1 on 1 and maneuvered around the defender and made the shot that put the Storm up by one.

In the second half open with the Storm up by one and looking for more, Storm's John Lopez who already had an assist on the first goal in the 47th minute has the ball again except this time he took it to the net with his left foot made a shot to the upper 90 that put his team up by two.

The teams battled back and forth with chances on each side and it wasn't until the 90th minute of play while Revolution was on the attack at the goal and a foul was called on the Storm. The official awarded Revolution with a penalty kick that they capitalized on pulling them within one.  Unfortunately, it was a matter of too little too late and Lopez's goal in the 47th minute became a game-winner. as the final whistle was blown.
